In 2010, Pacific View Memorial Chapel was purchased by Dave Schroeder from out of state operators to return ownership to local Oregon Coast families. Pacific View Memorial Chapel is now a family owned and operated funeral home serving all Oregon coastal and surrounding communities. They have returned to their family owned philosophy of providing the best service, facilities and care at the most reasonable price.
Located in Lincoln City, Pacific View Memorial Chapel and Gardens is a full service funeral home with an onsite crematory, cemetery and memorial garden. Many other funeral homes are required to transport to a third party crematory operator and have little control over when the cremation takes place, or when the ashes are returned to families. Because Pacific View Memorial Chapel has an onsite crematory, there are no out of town transport costs, and their certified technicians are able to maintain the highest private professional standards available. Staff reside in both the Newport and Lincoln City areas, and are available to assist 24 hours a day.
Pacific View Memorial Chapel offers a wide variety of services including burial, cremation and pre-arrangement services. Offering meaningful personal service, Pacific View Memorial Chapel believes that a memorial or funeral service should be a time to pay tribute and celebrate one's life at the same time. Pacific View is committed to celebrating each life with dignity and honoring each family for their individuality. Each family has lived their own life, and each person's funeral or memorial service can and should reflect that. When properly and appropriately designed, a personalized funeral or memorial service is a very meaningful and powerful experience.

Pacific View has also hosted an annual flag placing by the local scout troop at Pacific View Memorial Gardens, and holds an open house for memorial day.
The goal at Pacific View Memorial Chapel is to provide the most unique, modern and pleasant memorial centers in Lincoln County, while maintaining some of the most reasonable prices on the Oregon Coast.
