Sandra Leigh Lewis

Sandra Leigh Lewis, 65, passed away at her home in Lincoln City, Oregon surrounded by those she loved along with her care team from Samaritian hospice on the 15th of September 2017. She was born February 20th,1952 in Hillsboro,Oregon to William and Myrna (Hood) Cummings. Graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1970. Sandra married Chuck Lewis October 11, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked at both Techtronics and Forest Medical in her hometown of Hillsboro, later followed a career in real estate in Lincoln City. Sandra enjoyed her life to the fullest doing things such as skiing in Europe and golfing throughout the west coast. She also flew through the Tillamook blimp hanger on a gyrocopter. Sandra also enjoyed traveling going to places such as Hawaii, New Orleans, and the Oregon coast. She fulfilled one of her life long dreams of living on the Oregon Coast for the last 15 years of her life. She also had many hobbies such as making and selling driftwood art, cross stitch, crossword puzzles,touring covered bridges and was a member of the coffee mates ladies group. Left to mourn is her husband Chuck of nearly 15 years, mother Myrna, brothers Bob & Dan, Chuck's children Austin, Shelly, Stacy, Chuck's grandchild Adrian and many other family members and friends. Celebration of Life Memorial Open House Date: Saturday, October 7th Time: 12pm - 3pm Location: Coronado Shores Beach Club, Lincoln City, OR We will be celebrating the life of Sandra (Sandy) Leigh Lewis at the Coronado Shores Beach Club in Lincoln City, Oregon; the community where Sandy was able to live out her dream of living on the Oregon Coast, for the past 15 years. Please join us to share memories of Sandy, who despite her determination and grace, lost her life too soon. This will be a casual open-house style Celebration of Life with no formal service as per Sandy's request. We will however have a special reading around 1pm in Sandy's honor.
