Paul Green

Paul Lyman Green, 83, of Lincoln City, Oregon, passed away, Saturday, November 18, 2017, at 4:25pm at Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital, in Lincoln City, Oregon, from an intracranial hemorrhage. Born June 7, 1934, in Eureka, Utah, to Royal (Bob) David Green and Dorothy Haynes. His given birth name was Lyman Paul Green; however, he later legally changed his name to Paul Lyman Green. Paul had two brothers, Royal Lyman Green, Jr. and Ralph "Clyde" Green. Paul and Clyde shared the same birth date; however, Clyde is two years younger. He attended West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah and worked for a Garrett Trucking. Paul was first married to Carol Faulkner in Salt Lake City, Utah, they had 4 children; Robert, Susan, Terry and Jeff. Carol and Paul divorced then he married Connie White. Paul and Connie had one son, Glen Green and they moved to Long Beach, California, where Paul owned his own business "Green's Appliance Repair". Eventually Paul and Connie divorced. He then married Teresita (Tere) Noguera; they both loved the ocean and loved to fish. Paul became an avid fisherman with some impressive "catches". He took acting and computer classes. During Christmastime Paul dressed up as Santa Claus and handed out candy to the local children. Tere and Paul divorced, he then moved to Lincoln City, Oregon. Paul was a "gadgety" type of a guy. He loved computers and electronic devices. He bought used electronics, gadgets, appliances, and figured out how they worked and repaired them. In his 60's Paul was a bit ahead of his time in that he made instructional videos online teaching people how to repair various appliances and things around the house. The last 15 years he lived in Lincoln City, Oregon, with the past couple years living at the Lakeview Senior Living Center. He enjoyed friendships with the staff and residents. He also enjoyed going to the local casino for dinner and fun. He leaves behind 25 grandchildren and over 25 great grandchildren. Paul is survived by: Son, Robert David (Cathy) Green, West Jordan, Utah; daughter, Susan Huschle, Highlands Ranch, Colorado; son, Jeff Green of Garden Grove, California; son Glen Green of Georgia; brother Ralph Clyde (Margaret) Green, Salt Lake City, Utah. Paul is preceded in death by: Son, Terry Paul Green; brother, Royal Lyman Green, Jr; father, Royal (Bob) David Green, mother, Dorothy Haynes Johnson; stepfather Eugene Johnson. Services will be performed in the Summer of 2018, in Salt Lake City, Utah, details TBD.
